Easier to install than you would think
Wife started to complain about dishwasher performance a few months ago, and more recently wash cycle became really loud. Researched online and learned that these 2 problems together suggest the main circulation pump has bad bearings. Researched who had the part and cost and shipping. Saw Sears was in line with everyone else but they had a 15% off coupon I could use and shipping by USPS was reasonable. It arrived in about 3 or 4 days, and took about an hour or so to disconnect power and plumbing and get it pulled out and laid down. A word of advise is you might have to have the dishwasher laying on different sides during the removal and new pump installment process. The new o rings are a really tight fit and it goes in easier if the dishwasher is laying on the side that allows you to not have to hold the pump, while putting in the screws into the plastic mounts on the housing. Dishwasher is quiet and effective again.
