This ice maker and auger motor assembly (part number EAU60943434) is for refrigerators.

Ice maker and auger motor assembly EAU60943434 contains the complete ice maker and auger motor contained on a mounting bracket.

The ice maker and auger motor assembly mounting bracket has been redesigned. To install the new ice maker and auger motor, also order bracket part number MEG62543401. Remove the old assembly and install bracket MEG62543401 at the top of the door using the original upper screws. Slide the top of the new auger motor assembly into the bracket, then install the lower screws through the auger motor mounting bracket.

Safely store any food that could deteriorate while the power is off and unplug the refrigerator when installing this part. Wear work gloves to protect your hands.

This is the original equipment manufacturer part by LG. There is a slight modification in the design though. The original was attached with 5 Philips head screws. This one needs an adapter on the upper install with 2 screws and 2 screws to the lower end. No screws for the middle of the ice maker. It is so rewarding to see ice being dispensed once again on our 15 year old Kenmore Elite Fridge Freezer. I got the best price on Sears Parts Direct. Thank you.

No so easy to install

Original part had 6 screws holding it in, this one only had holes for three. Room to make the electrical connections was VERY short, and almost impossible to connect. Packaging of part was VERY, VERY POOR, Knowing it was going to be shipped by UPS, who toss most boxes., No packing material whatsoever.

Not install ready and drips water

First, not an identical match, then had to measure and drill mounting holes. Upper left mounting location not flat plastic, but elevated so that original screw is way to short, so I did not drill. Started working great, now drbbles water over ice tray and freezes around and in ice bucket.
