Part Information
Ice maker 30122-0043600-00 includes the ice mold and the control device. The ice maker receives water from the water inlet valve and then holds the water in the ice mold until the water freezes solid. It then automatically ejects the ice and refills to continue the process until the ice storage bin is full.
Safely store any food that could deteriorate while the power is off and unplug the refrigerator when installing this part. Wear work gloves to protect your hands.

Refrigerator 111. serial number flaw
If you follow the trouble shooting recommendations from their web site, they say that if the ice maker isn't working that the icemaker is probably bad and that you need to replace it.WRONG, If the serial # of your refrigerator starts with 111. then the problem is that the ceiling of your freezer is probably delaminated from the insulation and water is building up and freezing and causing the fan that sends cold air from the freezer to the refrigerator to freeze and not do its job. The icemaker gets it's cold air from this fan and when the fan quits...you do't get ice.

Well it took 7months to get the ice maker , easy to install , now doesnt make ice very fast i dont believe ill be buying any more kenmore products not happy at all

Took Nine Months To Arrive
Ordered in March. Just arrived in November. Tossed into a big box with a little bubble wrap, causing it to bounce around. No wonder Sears took a digger.
