Looks Like a Direct Replacement of Original
Came in a Husqvarna branded box but the seat itself is embossed with the Craftsman logo. Had an opening in the bottom for the seat switch, and directly mounted on my 2007 DGS 6500. Wish it had cost less ($88) but other than that it was exactly what I needed for my torn and tattered seat. The texture on the vinyl was not consistent which made me wonder if it will hold up as well as the original did- only time will tell. In any case, very pleased with the replacement.

Quick and Easy to install
easy to replace took me 5min to do. No need to take bracket off just remove 1 bolt and it slides off, unplug sensor and remove to place in new seat reinstall sensor slide seat back on.

Wrong part received.
Had to return seat would not fit. Your sales person suggested this seat as a replacement since the one that l would need was discontinued. Wasn't even close, my seat was a low back seat your replacement was a high back, EVEN IF the seat would work, my grass catcher lid could not upon. Also about the universal mounting it did have my bolt pattern but NO THREADED inserts in any of the possible combinations but one which wasn't even close.

Brand new 20 year old seat, great price - perfect!
Bought a near 20 year old part that I was only able to find one other place before I found it on Sears Parts Direct. Paid less than half of of what was being charged elsewhere, with very quick shipping. Good buying experience!
