Sent a defective part!!
I ordered this part with the help of the Sears chat and paid an extra $50 for expedited shipping. Part arrived 2 days later and was very easy to install. Unfortunately once it was in, I quickly learned the part was defective as the control board had no power. I immediately contacted Sears and the person quickly reordered the part, or so I thought. Three chat conversations later and I received a parts order confirmation two days after ordered it. Well it's now been 5 days since my order to replace their shipped defective part and I still have no replacement board. Have now been without a washing machine for a week and I'm hoping the part gets here in the next 3 days, which is what their ÒexpeditedÓ expected ship by date says. Extremely disappointing service response from Sears, and they haven't been very helpful with correcting this issue. The part is very easy to install but no guarantees it will actually work when it gets to you. There's a sheet on how to calibrate the board once it's installed, but I can't say how easy that will go as I haven't made it that far yet.
