Exact replacement
Did not take long to replace the new unit. Sure beats replacing a whole heater just for the unit itself failing. I hope to get another 12 years out of the water heater.

All in one and a breeze to install
I was without hot water while checking individual components of the water heater burner that wouldn't allow the pilot to light. It was too much and too long to spend time with. Saw the ad for the complete burner assembly and on sale. Once received I installed in less than 20minutes. The pilot lit and stayed lit. My burner kicked in once I turned it on. Now I'm back taking my hot morning showers before work. Don't mess with individual components. Buy the burner assembly for your water heater model you'll save a whole lot of time and frustration. And you'll be back in business in no time.

Party was great. Delivery, not so much.
The water heater burner was just as described. Was delivered with very complete DIY directions for install. The connecting lines were a little longer that the OEM parts, but it presented no problem during install. Delivery of 3 days ended up almost 6, 'due to winter storms', but part was in town for 3 of those days.
