LG Range Oven Control Board Install
Sears Blue Crew came out and diagnosed my lower oven. Told me it wasn't heating because the motherboard wasn't sending enough amperage. However, replacing the part was going to be very pricey. I just ordered it myself and installed it. Not the easiest thing I've ever done given that NO instructions are provided and there was one set of wires left with nowhere to go. I ordered the board the Sears repair man told me to; it's clear LG has updated their control board in the past few years. When we turned on the oven, everything worked....except the lower oven still. The wires that didn't connect went to the "self diagnostics" area, so that's not the reason. Guessing there were actually two things wrong. I sold the oven instead of calling the repair guy back....which would have cost me another $100 plus parts plus his installation of the next failed part.

easy to install - perfect match
LG double oven/range Remove the four screw from the upper back plate. And there lies the control board. Make note or take a pic of which wires go where and remove them - very simple. Install new board and close her up. Maybe a ten minute job. Would hate to think what an appliance guy would charge. Since you've got to pull the oven out to access the back, it's always a good time to clean behind the range
