Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
Fairly easy to install
The tabs broke on the old flap plug. So, only had to remove the flap plug off by of the new arm and snap it back onto the old arm . I did get my daughter to do it as her hands are smaller and could reach into the small space to snap it back on the arm.

Moderately Difficult to Install
It took about a half an hour to install. It requires removing the plastic ice chute, the front panel of the ice dispenser, and the electronic panel. Then unscrew the old ice chute door screw and replace. It is somewhat challenging to fold the spring back and clip the motor onto the new chute door hook.
