Better to buy the complete assembly
Shaft- $41.00, Upper bearing $12,50......Plus shipping. Complete Mandrel assembly $39.00. Tried to return 2 shafts and 2 bearings, received credit for only one shaft. Guess that I.... got the shaft! Contacted SPD about this, followed the directions that I was given, waiting to see what happens next!

Dumb shipping
Yah, ship the bolts and parts needed to put the pulley on , that wasn't needed without the pulley! This isn't the 1st time you did this to me! Now I sit and wait another week for the part that was necessary!

Shaft installation inside the mandrel
The installation is easy once you de-install the deck from the tractor. I also wish the middle shaft had a horizontal extension so you could grease it without removing the deck completely or partially.

WAY WAY WAY overpriced
Over $11.00 for an ordinary washer that would be 25cents anywhere else. The Lawn tractor Mandrel shaft costs 50% MORE than the entire Mandrel assembly . Your pricing makes no sense at all. The repair itself was very easy

Replace mandrel shaft
Make sure you buy the complete assembly, everything is included and it installs very quickly. I bought just the shaft the first time and broke the housing trying to press it, than found the assembly and installed it in 15 minutes.

Make sure you have a way to lift the mower. and a way to press the bearings on the shaft.
