There were no instructions included to indicate which side was to be installed up. This may have been a no brainer because the part would only slide in one way in order to properly secure in place except the angle of the strike was then too high to hit the latch opening. Had to use vice grips to adjust. A bit too much monkeying around to pop it back out numerous times to adjust angle. I was concerned I would damage the plastic encasement where the strike attaches. This could have gone alot easier with instructions and a correct fitting part out of the box.

I ordered the latch and they said to order this too. Well the latch COMES with a strike that is slightly different from this one. So - its sitting unopened in a parts can.
