Big job - but worth it
Anyone who has worked on a lawn tractor mower knows that there are more than 50 parts and linch pins holding it together. The job took about 2 hours (both brake arms had cracked from use for over 25 years. I would much rather spend $50 dollars and put in a couple of hours of time, instead of buying a whole new mower deck..In fact, the cost of a mower deck may have had me buying a new lawn tractor. The old tractor is running fine now.

Not bad at to replace.
It was easy to change out. Removed one part at a time, put the new parts in the way old parts came out. Had a little problem with the Springs. But all went well.
