Great part.

The part fits perfect. Very easy to put on. The worst thing is having to drop the deck to install the part. But the part is quality.

Product took forever to ship and arrive. No tracking information the entire time. Part arrived to me with paint defects so I had to sand and repaint part of the arm. Super inconvenient all around.

Right hand spring installation is very difficult.
September 14, 2021

The brake arm is easy to install on both sides. However, the spring for the one on the right hand side is very difficult. The best way is to pull spring to attachment post with a fine strong piano wire.

Big job - but worth it
July 14, 2021

Anyone who has worked on a lawn tractor mower knows that there are more than 50 parts and linch pins holding it together. The job took about 2 hours (both brake arms had cracked from use for over 25 years. I would much rather spend $50 dollars and put in a couple of hours of time, instead of buying a whole new mower deck..In fact, the cost of a mower deck may have had me buying a new lawn tractor. The old tractor is running fine now.
