How to replace a caster wheel on your Gladiator tool chest
Wear work gloves to protect your hands before beginning the repair.
Empty all tools out of the tool chest.
Lay down cardboard behind the tool chest to keep from scratching the rear chest panel as you lay the tool chest on its back.
Carefully lay the tool chest on its back. Use a helper if necessary.
Remove the caster wheel mounting screws and pull off the broken caster wheel.
Install the new caster wheel and secure it with the mounting screws.
Stand the tool chest upright. Use a helper if necessary.
Common Gladiator tool chest replacement parts
Caster wheel. The caster wheel fits at the bottom of the tool chest and allows you to roll the tool chest to a different location. The caster wheel also has a locking mechanism that keeps the wheel from rolling when the lock is engaged.
