Loading nails in your Paslode power nailer

• Remove the battery from the power nailer before loading nails. Engage the trigger lock-off.
• Turn the power nailer upside down.
• Slide the spring-loaded nail pusher latch to the of the nail magazine and lock the pusher into place.
• Drop nail strips into the loading slot of the magazine. Make sure all the nail heads line up correctly with the slot opening.
• Keeping your finger clear of the track, close the magazine cover by releasing the pusher latch. Carefully allow the latch to slide forward and engage the nail strips.

Safety tips to follow when using bump action on your Paslode power nailer

• When using the bump action feature, be careful to avoid unintentional double fires of the power nailer caused by accidentally allowing the contact trip to re-contact the work surface due to recoil.
• To avoid double fires of the power nailer, don't engage the power nailer against the work surface with strong force. Allow the tool to recoil fully after each actuation.
• Always keep the power nailer in control when using the bump actuating mode. Inaccurate placement of the tool can result in misdirected discharge of nails.
• Be aware of material thickness when driving nails. Don't leave protruding nails in the work because protruding nails can cause injury.
• Don't drive nails blindly into walls or other surfaces. Nails driven into live electrical wires or plumbing can result in injury and/or property damage.
