Electrical safety precautions to follow when using your Delta radial arm saw

• The radial arm saw plug must match the receptacle on the electrical wall outlet. Never modify the power saw's power cord plug in any manner. Don't use an adapter plug with an earth grounded power saw.
• Don't expose the power saw to rain or wet conditions. Water entering the power saw will increase the risk of electric shock.
• Check the condition of the power cord before using the radial arm saw. Repair damaged wires in the power cord or replace the power cord if it's damaged before using the radial arm saw.

How to replace the carbon motor brushes on your Delta radial arm saw

• Unplug the radial arm saw’s power cord from the wall outlet. Wear work gloves to protect your hands.
• Use a slot screwdriver to unscrew the brush caps and then pull out the motor brushes.
• Insert the new carbon brushes into the motor and reinstall the brush caps.
• Plug the radial arm saw into the electrical outlet and test motor operation.
