- Glass cooking tray. The glass cooking tray holds food inside the microwave cavity during cooking and rotates to cook food evenly.
- Door hinge. The door hinge supports the microwave door and allows the door top swing open and shut.
- Fuse. The fuse blows when a short in microwave wiring or a component such as the magnetron causes excessive electrical current to flow through the fuse.
- Turntable motor. The turntable motor rotates the cooking tray so foods cook evenly inside the microwave.
Defrosting tips for your Electrolux built-in microwave
- When using Auto Defrost, enter the net weight of the portion that you're defrosting (the weight of the food minus the weight of the container).
- Make sure that you remove any metal such as twist ties from the item before starting the microwave.
- Leave the container lid open. Slit or pierce plastic packaging. Slit the skins of foods such as sausages.
- As food begins to defrost, separate the pieces of food so items defrost more easily.
- Turn food over halfway through the defrost process to evenly defrost items top to bottom.
- Let food stand for several minutes after defrosting.
