Loading nails in your Porter power nailer

• Remove the battery from the power nailer before loading nails. Engage the trigger lock-off.
• Turn the power nailer upside down.
• Slide the spring-loaded nail pusher latch to the of the nail magazine and lock the pusher into place.
• Drop nail strips into the loading slot of the magazine. Make sure all the nail heads line up correctly with the slot opening.
• Keeping your finger clear of the track, close the magazine cover by releasing the pusher latch. Carefully allow the latch to slide forward and engage the nail strips.

• Keep the work area clean and well lit because cluttered or dark areas can cause accidents.
• Don't operate your power nailer in explosive atmospheres such as in the presence of flammable liquids, gases or dust. The power nailer can produce sparks that may ignite dust or fumes.
