Super Easy to replace!

Plate hit the glass-shattered. Hardest part in replacement was taping the shattered glass and waiting for the new door to arrived thanks to Corona.Less than 20 minutes to install!!

Very difficult to install the Range Oven Door

My range oven door outer panel on the bottom was broken by the contractor who took a long time to repair, so I decided to replace the door by DIY. But, there were three big problems when I tried to purchase and replace the outer door. Firstly, because the door image in the website is drawn by hand with pencil, I wasn't sure whether the door has black glass with frame. Therefore, I should've asked the several agents uisng chat, and I found that the door has black glass with steal frame as well. I think that the drawing image of Range Oven Door Outer Panel should be changed as a photo image. Secondly, the door has been delivered to my home faster than I thought 7 days in advance. At this point, I was satisfied with fast delivery, but the delivery fee was too much expensive as same as the price of the door part.There was no choice for me to do DIY. Finally, it was very very very difficult to loosen setscrew which were too strong tightened from original door fram in order to discard the broken door outer panel. It took exactly two weeks to loosen setscrew, and I have tried many kinds of method every single day during 2 hours using unscrew kits, WD40, micro torch, and various drivers. Now, I've completely disassembled the broken door from the original door frame, and I'm going to assemble the new outer paner to the original frame after purchasing the screw to swtich the old one. I'm not sure how long it will take to install the new door to the original frame, but I have to go on a procedure because I have no choice any more. This story is my huge experience for utilizing Range Oven manufactured by Kenmore, especially replacing the Range Ove Door Outer Panel.
