Design issues

After carefully prying off the old broken handle with a couple small flathead screwdrivers , this new one just popped in with a couple audible snaps. Within two days, a small visible crack at the center screw point can be seen. The plastic part needs a design enhancement to strengthen the integrity at the main point of force. It's better than the multi breaks in the old one, but probably won't last very long.

The exact part we needed

The new handle was actually very easy to install. Removing the old broken one was a mystery. I'm not a "handy" kind of guy, so I did some digging online for the best approach. I was worried about bending the stainless steel door this handle had to be removed from because it did take some force, but overall it worked out well.

Perfect match

Part was a perfect match for the broken one. It was held in place by three torx screws. Easy to remove old part and install new one.

Need to desassmble the entire door to install, give yourself around 30 minutes to do it.

Husband wasn't convinced it was the right part because the picture didn't look the same. We ordered it anyway and it was correct. Needed a star drill bit to remove the screws.
