Easy repair- save hundreds
Simple repair with a Phillips head and a flat head. Took 10 minutes and saved $150 repair charge. Easy to diagnose-- noises coming from refigerator box in my case-- and essential to repair (if it fails, temperature control in refirgerator fails, too). Lots of YouTube videos for the how-to.

Peace at last! Fixed noisy design defect.
It took me a long time to figure out what was making noise on my new refrigerator. The noise ruined my peace of mind. But, once I got this replacement part (note it has a new part number, I assume Whirlpool figured out that the original part was defective), my life was good.

It only took only about 15 Minutes to install, the hardest part was getting the louvred grill off.
