I received the LG range main top replacement part on Monday, September 13th (see below) and installed it the next day. Unfortunately, it appears the replacement range top may be defective as it does not line up correctly with the electronics below. I have photos which show the issue. For instance, the lighted numbers for the burners and the glass manufacturer's name, Schott Ceran, is not fully visible (you can only see Ceran.) We need to press just below the buttons to make them work. I sent an email to SearsParts customer service asking them to let me know how best to proceed, but have not heard back from them. Instead I have been asked to rate my purchase! Defective Part

This was an OEM LG part that is 1/2" shorter than the original. New part is 21" deep and original is 21 1/2" deep, causing the burners and burner control numbers to be misaligned. I paid a technician $250 to install the new part yesterday only to find this out when we turned it on.....apparently a manufacturing quality control issue. Both the old and new tops are
