GE OEM DISHWASHER PUMP WD26X10016

Dishwasher in service for 19 years. Stopped draining. Found a cherry pit in the drain pump that I believe burned the pump out. Took about 15 minutes to replace pump and the washer is back in service again. It was 2 screws, 2 hose clamps and 2 single prong electrical connections in all. Saved myself about $1300 (based on the washer my wife wanted to replace this one with!)

Old pump had stopped working on our nearly 20 yr old GE Triton XL dishwasher. Ordered a replacement from Sears Parts Direct and received it within approx 3 business days. Replacing the old one is easy. In fact, there is a 7 minute YouTube video that shows exactly how to do it. Total elapsed time including pulling the DW out from the cabinets was approx. 45 minutes. Tested the pump 2-3 times by activating the "RINSE" cycle on the control panel. Worked like a charm!
