Easy to install

It was easy, just remove the 4 screws (2 in each side) from the lid (mine is glass) lift the lid straight up and pull the old hinge out, I put some hi temp grease on the so that it doesn't rust as quickly and slid it back in, the slide the lid back on and install the screws. Simple!

Disappointed - no mention of left/right hand hinge

The Sears Parts Direct parts list made no mention of the hinge being right hand / left hand. As luck would have it, I needed left hand and received the right hand. I only discovered this after completely disassembling the lid and hinges. It was not readily apparent that the part would not work until this.
