Easy to install
This was the correct part to replace a valve that burst during a -13 degree cold spell. Except for the lying on the floor part, it was easy to remove the old valve and install the new one. Shipping was quick.

saved my old dishwasher
I wanted to save my 19 year old Kenmore dishwasher. My plumber found the repair part on Sears Parts Direct, I ordered it, he installed it, and let's hope this good old machine will continue running for many more years.

It works.
The part works but the water inlet requires a different connector than the original part. This required another trip to hardware store and a subsequent purchase of a connecting conduit. All in all once the proper connector was attached and installed, the part worked great. Easy to install.

One suggestion...
When a newer part has replaced the original, please indicate if any adapter is needed. The valve inlet (3/4) no longer matches the water feed line (3/8) so I had to run find an adapter.
