Took Awhile to Arrive, but it is FANTASTIC!
I could explain how to install this, but it really depends on the kind of dishwasher you own. Yes, this is the piece that has the lights come on to tell you what part of the cycle your dishwasher is on. After seeing the lights get dimmer and dimmer (and eventually the red light disappeared while another started fading), I ordered this part for my stainless steel (inside and out) Kitchen Aid. I had to remove the front panel with the screws on the interior of the dishwasher, slide it off...and there it was... with evidence of the old one being burned out. Now, I've had this dishwasher for over ten years, but I've kept it going (which is cheaper than replacing it because everything eventually fails), and this was such a small piece and simple install. The only issue you may find is that there was sticky residue from the previous one that may become useless to you. I used a tiny bit of thin, double sided electrical repair tape (the kind used to repair phone screens, etc.) and stuck it on. Just avoid the components on the board. It's easy to do. I hope this helps someone. Anyways, I'm very happy with this, and the repair was fast, but I use repair time to clean everything including the screws and hard to reach areas since the panel was off. Oh, and don't forget to unplug your machine before starting anything.
