Difficult to install.
If the handle was made of metal this would not happen. the handle broke, requiring a new unit. Location in tight area. If you cannot turn it so handle fits slot one would have to re- move fuel tank. lucky for me I did not have to.

It was easy to install. Two screws , one rod.
Put the handle thru the slot, turn it, rod goes on right side.You have to work a bit to line the rod to the slot in the control. Put screws in and that's it.
