Arrived on time, fits well - and it works!

It took a bit of work to get the handle apart the first time - the always-clear and detailed Sears parts manual gave sufficient hints. Once the handle was opened up, replacement was easy and straightforward. Reassembly was also straightforward, although care must be taken to line up the plastic switch actuator correctly. Vacuum now works again - I'm my wife's "hero." (For now, at least)

Take your time. Lining up switches is critical. Pressure on circuit board could damage it.

Arrived fast, easy to install!

This part was very easy to install. My 14 year old son did it in about 15 minutes. The only challenge was lining up the suction control slider with the slider on the handle, but we quickly found that it was easiest to do with the slider in the bottom position, and then it quickly snapped together. Sears shipped the part VERY fast... Got it a day earlier than expected!

I would have given you a 5 star, but...

The 4 stars: The circuit I ordered was not packaged sufficiently to avoid a split/break on the board. If you had put it in a box rather than a soft bag, it would have made it in one full piece. The 5 stars: provision of label and speedy refund. Thank you for a great experience and I will be ordering again. I ended up not needing the part after all but definitely plan to order again for my Sears vacuum cleaners.
