This liquid propane (LP) manifold door and burner assembly (part number 9003384005) is for water heaters.
LP manifold door and burner assembly 9003384005 connects the burner to the gas supply tube and holds the burner in place. The assembly includes the manifold door, pilot burner with thermocouple and the pilot spark igniter. The burner is included; additional parts may also be included.
Shut off the gas supply before installing this part. Wear work gloves to protect your hands.

Even a new part is not always defect free.
This item is not hard to install if you have some basis mechanical knowledge and the approximate wrenches. I had to remove this assembly twice because the pilot light would not light once assembled. There was apparently an obstruction in the gas line. Once I blew out the line with an air compressor, it would light. I then had trouble with a small gas leak on one of the fittings that required teflon tape in order to seal it properly. I have working knowledge in dealing with the mentioned problems and was able to work through them. I received a less than perfect part.
