A bit tricky but just as new
GE glasstop was not so easy to replace as other brands. Burners are attached to the glass top. With patience and care, it looks like new.

No instructions but came quickly
It was not really that easy to change out, but after watching a variety of youtube videos I managed. I needed a 1/4" nut driver, a board, pliers and a flat head screw driver. I took away the back burners first and just kept track of where the clips were for reassembly. Not too complicated. There is no bracket on the back, it is just all one piece, but you need to have the burners off before taking the top off. Reassembly was fast and easy.

There should be instructions and paperwork on how to return a part not needed.
