Choose this manufacturer-approved water pump for your residential washer.
This complete water pump assembly for a residential washer drains the wash tub at the end of a cycle.
- Unplug the washer and disconnect the machine from its water supply before beginning to install this replacement pump. Then tape down the lid and tilt the washer back so you can access the parts installed under the tub. Detach the wires and hoses from the old pump and remove the three hex screws that hold the pump in place.
- It is recommended that you check the hoses connecting the new water pump to the tub and drain for leaks and secure seals so you can replace any defective parts. Note that the pump assembly is not sold with hoses or hose clamps.
