Dishwasher Drain Pump (replaces 00184178, 167082K, 642239) 00642239

Drain pump for my Kenmore dishwasher arrived in 3 days. Ordering was simple. OEM part.

The installation was a breeze, I didn't even need to pull the dishwasher out from under the counter. Part arrived before anticipated delivery date

Ordered on Dec 6. Promised on Dec 14. Actually arrived on Dec8. Very easy repair.

The replacement part was a mm wider and a mm longer than the original part. you may have to twist and push than turn to get it in.

Easy to install. I watched a great video for instructions.

The drain pump itself was easy to install. The old one disengaged with a simple turn of the housing. The new one installed in reverse fashion. The difficult part was releasing the bottom pan of the dishwasher to access the pump. The release fasteners were not immediately apparent.

Do not order from Sears parts direct. We ordered parts and their system said they shipped. Two weeks later and we still did not receive the part. Tracking information said the parts shipped. Many calls later and long wait times, finally customer service said for some reason the part never actually shipped. Customer service them said they would expedite shipment. Another week and still nothing. Finally cancelled the order and ordered from a different, more reliable vendor. Received the part from he other vendor two days later. amazingly I keep getting requests to review the purchase from Sears and finally decided to write this review to stop them from asking again. Maybe if they were more concerned with customer service and filling orders then Sears would still be in business. plenty of other, better vendors.
