You can just take the old arm off and put the new one on. You press up and twist and the arm comes off, easy. However, the new arm comes with a new attachment that has a new rubber washer. For this, you need a flat blade screwdriver to take the old attachment off. Just pry the clips out a little and it pops off. Put the new one on and pres really hard to get the clips to snap.
