I purchased all the parts I needed, including this one, to reconstruct my dryer door because after 10 years of use the original door was rotted and falling apart. While overall the parts worked great and I'm happy about the fact that I basically have a brand new door on my dryer and saved myself all the money that I otherwise would have spent by having to purchase an entirely new washer/dryer set, I'm a bit annoyed that the parts didn't come with the necessary screws. I assumed that the parts would come with those as well, since most of the old ones were rusted and unusable and there was no option to purchase new screws. Unfortunately they didn't come so I had to go to a hardware store to purchase them myself. Closest I could find was wood screws, as they had a similar thread type with a coarse pitch. It only cost me a couple dollars extra but the annoyance was more about the inconvenience of Sears not bothering to make it clear that screws were not included nor providing any direction as to which types of screws were needed. Further, none of the parts came with any directions. Fortunately I was able to figure it all out on my own but it doesn't seem like it's too much to ask to provide some basic direction and possibly even throw in a set of instructions. If you're planning on doing something similar, don't expect any help from Sears. You're on your own.
