I received the correct part and instructions on how to install were easy to follow. The only thing that could have been better is a reminder that the new part (ignition switch) is factory set to security code to start. You must refer to your owner's manual to know the correct button sequence to push to start the garden tractor motor. That info was not in the provided instructions.

It was easy to install, however I wasn't happy when I found out that the ignition wiring harness that I have on my craftsman mower has now been divided into two parts. Now if you order the ignition wire harness you also have to order the ignition switch which comes with a 6 inch wiring extensionThat connects to the ignition harness. How convenient that now if you need an ignition harness you must also buy the $188 ignition switch and extension. Even if you don't need an ignition. That's poor business practice by husquavarna. The product is fine though.

Faulty upon arrival

The switch would only light up and blink an error code. Would not start my tractor. The push buttons looked kinda worn as if it was a refurbished, reproduction or just a poor quality manufacture. Very expensive. Have to send back for refund, however a replacement isn't available at this time. Bypassing this switch isn't an option seeing how some 20 wires come into it including safety switches and other nonsense. Poor ignition design overall, would never buy another tractor without a keyed ignition.
