Exact Match and Easy Install
This was a perfect match for my Maytag 2000 front loading washer motor control unit. Installation was pretty easy and I this part got us back up and running pretty quickly. The part came a little bit faster than expected, which was nice. I figured the old MCU was bad since I heard a loud pop when the washer tried spinning up for the spin cycle. When I took out the old MCU and removed the cover I found some black burn marks and a few blown capacitors on the board. Once the new control unit was in the washer was back to working again like nothing ever happened.

Learned that Amana appliances are under Whirlpool and that part numbers changed. I have the old unit available to return if possible.
