It works
Its definitely a part designed to fail. The teeth are molded with a space inside of each tooth. Oh well took a couple hrs to replace. I lifted lawn mower on its tail. Of course I drained the oil removed gas tank and battery. Seems to be the easiest way to replace. IT'S A #4 PHILIPS HEAD TO REMOVE BOTTOM SCREW., figured I would add that so if you dont have 1 buy 1 you will need it. Next time I will replace that screw. With something that will hold.

Feels like new
It was very easy to replace. Make sure you order the 941-04124 Hex Flange Bearing. You must use vise grips to remove the screw at the bottom.

Looks used but works
It's working and that's what matters. Feels like I have power steering compared to what it was this season.

A little difficult
It would help if there were instructions with the part to install it. I had to remove quite a few items to get the old steering rod out and the new one in. It was not easy and it was hard to get to the screw on the bottom of the frame !
