This shear bolt (part number 780-039) is for snowblowers.

Shear bolt 780-039 connects the auger to the rotating drive shaft. The shear bolt is made of soft metal that purposely shears off or breaks to protect the transmission and motor if a foreign object or hard-packed snow binds the auger.

Follow the instructions in the owner's manual when installing this part.
