Got here, but not without surprises and confusion
Pretty easy install once you have all the right parts. Because the filter cover installation screw is recessed pretty far, you'll need a long 1/4" nut driver to get to it. Otherwise, accessing the filter housing to replace it is a piece of cake. The in and out tubes on the original piece were 5/16" and this part is set for 1/4", so the push-to-connect fittings didn't attach to this. Fortunately, there are 5/16" to 1/4" elbow push-to-connect fittings available. Once all the right parts are in hand, installation was a breeze.

Quality part, seals better than original.
With the refrigerator's original water filter housing assembly I always had great difficulty getting the removable cup to seal to the stationary housing after replacing the water filter. Usually replacing the o-ring seal stopped the water leak. This time it didn't, so I decided to try replacing the entire water filter housing instead. This seems to have corrected the water leak problem! The replacement water filter housing assembly is designed a bit differently than the manufacturer's original. On the replacement assembly the o-ring seal is located inside the bottom of the removable cup, whereas on the original it fit around the perimeter of the stationary portion of the filter housing.
