Install ribbon cable in Kenmore dishwasher

The ribbon cable was easy to install. Extra effort was necessary to insert the terminal into the socket of the control board which was a rebuilt replacement for the original board. I used a small amount of silicon lubricant on the exterior to reduce the friction.

Fixed the problem

Replaced the control panel and function improved, but it was still glitchy. Realized there was discontinuity on several of the ribbon strands. Once I replaced the ribbon, the control panel worked perfectly!
