Whirlpool EveryDrop water filter (part number EDR8D1) has NSF certifications 42 and 53; it reduces lead, cysts and chlorine taste and odor.
EveryDrop water filter EDR8D1 fits select Whirlpool, Crosley, Estate, Kirkland, KitchenAid and Roper top-freezer and side-by-side refrigerators. It also fits select Kenmore top-freezer and side-by-side models.
Replace every 6 months, or more often if water flow slows noticeably.
Follow the package instructions when you install this EveryDrop water filter.
Water filter EDR8D1 replaces earlier filter part numbers 2204326, 2206039, 2213384, 8171413R, 8171414, 8171787 and 8171788; and Kenmore part number 9002.Top models using the same part

Unnecessary filter
On phone, I said fridge wasn't making ice. Person asked for model number. Asked when I changed filter. I had not. Said I needed new filter and switched me to parts. They again asked for model number and quoted price for part; did I want one or more. I figured I would need to change it again, so ordered 2. Later, when service tech arrived, he told me my model does not have filters and ordered new valve and ice maker to fix the problem. How do I return the unnecessary filters for refund?

Water Filter
Sears sent the incorrect filters, had to return. When I called they told me they were correct filters and to get instructions off the internet. When I tried to find instructions which I was unable to find, I called back to Sears and they informed me the wrong filters were sent.

Entirely a Breeze!
I buy this 2 each time, once a year. The price is great! My refrigerator is a Kenmore and all I have to do is take the old filter out, put the new one in then flush some water through the system' that's it! Could it get any easier then that!??
