Anyone could do it
In less than 10 minutes, I was able to remove the old skid show, install the new one, and reset the depth for it and the one which did not need replacement.

It lasts about 2 seasons
These sacrificial skid shoes wear out after a couple of winters. I use my lawn tractor for a snow plow, and I have a lot of asphalt driveway. These skid shoes are literally ground away, over time. At least they don't cost a lot, and are easy to replace. They need to make them out of a more durable metal.
