Garage Door Opener Limit Switch 41D4671

Missing mounting bracket.

On my opener the switch must be mounted on a plastic bracket which is not even shown on many parts diagrams. This part is not included as part of the switch assembly and cannot even be identified for ordering separately. The screen shots indicate where the missing mounting bracket is shown in a parts catalog. Sales reps could not help. Would appreciate a solution as the part is held together by glue and could break at any time.
