This door seal (part number WP99002588) is for dishwashers.
Door seal WP99002588 seals the gap between the opening to the dishwasher tub and the outer edge of the door.
After installing the door seal, shut the dishwasher door and leave the door closed for several hours to properly seat the new door seal.

Fixed my leak
I had an old, leaky dishwasher. Replacing the old seal with this part was easy, probably a 10 minute job. I did check YouTube first for any tips on installation and found it was important to soak the seal first in hot water. But after that, I removed the old seal, replaced it with this one, and the seal is fixed.

Door seal installation.
Dishwasher door seal was easy to install. Took less than 15 minutes. Be sure to clean out bottom of tub of old soap and any other gunk. Also leave about 1/2 inch of seal past the bottom of tub (form a U at bottom) on both sides so bottom of door can make a good seal.
