Dishwasher latch
This is the first time I replaced this latch where my brother didn't break it like 3 times before. As it turns out, I needn't have replaced it this time. The pins just backed out but now I have a spare.

part came in on time andfit perfectly
T his is the second time I have replaced the handle this time around I opted to install the complete unit with the microswitches as a routine precaution so that this repair will last a long time. One note you will need a special screwdriver with a Torx bit to get the screws out. Also you can use a small screwdriver to get the terminal wires loose. Just set it at the bottom of the connection and gently pry . Its also a good idea to unplug the dishwasher before you start. Once ou remove the back plate to the door then installation is quick and simple. Unplug your wires (watch where they go) plug in to the new switch and reinstall the panel. Before you do check the handle to make sure it is working right
