Return part not matching washing machine.

The ordered knob did not match the old washing machine timer. Apparently this knob part number did not match the timer on my Kenmore Series 90 washing machine. I found out that the actual matching knob had a different part number which was obsolete. I am returning this non - matching timer knob. Please give me the whole amount refund. Thank you.

Identical look, incorrect part

Purchased this for a 2002 Kenmore Elite washer. The knob I needed to replace threaded onto the timer shaft. This knob was for some type of push on shaft. Problem would have been avoided if description included how part attached. My guess is that the screw on knob has been discontinued. Had to make all sorts of adaptions to make this work. Cost to return didn't warrant return since I couldn't find the right knob on the site.
