Didn't fix problem
The control panel on my Kenmore water heater blinked 2 times per 3 seconds. According to the front of panel, that means faulty thermocouple. So I ordered the the part, which stated a Thursday delivery of the same week. Part arrived at my hometown UPS on Wednesday. Only to find out they transferred the package to the local USPS for delivery instead of delivery themselves. Didn't receive part until late Friday. After one week of cold showers my family is done with Kenmore as we had part installation done Friday night by local HVAC company and still no working water heater. Now I am supposed to wait another week for multiple parts to make a 10 year old water heater work agian. NOPE, done with Kenmore, DONE with SEARS!!! Plus they closed my local Sears store, not too say also resulted in me loosing my job there. My whole house is Kenmore products but soon not the water heater, buy a Name Brand that is serviceable by your local HVAC with Local Parts available.

Failed after 2 hours
The thermopile failed after the first two hours. The pilot would not stay lit after one tank was heated.The status light blinked after about a minute the first time the pilot was lit, but never blinked again when I tried to relight the pilot. What would you suggest.

wrong part
My water heater was blinking 5 times, I called Sears for help they told me to buy the wrong part, water heater still doesn't work.

Lasted One Day
Installation was quick & easy. Water Heater lit right up. After one day in service pilot went out again and would not light. After being without hot water for a week while waiting on part, decided to replace with new heater. This imported part was not worth the nearly $70 I paid for it. Poor quality!

Exactly the part I needed, went in like I expected
I got just the thermocouple assembly. If "I had paid a few more dollars and gotten the entire assemply, it would have been easier to install, but that was expected.
