Missing latch piece
It was not apparent from the tiny illustration that this part does NOT include the crucial latch mechanism. Removing it from the old part was not intuitive, and nobody at any Sears service or Parts Direct department could assist to tell us how. We finally took it to an engineer friend, and he finally figured it out.
