Design flaw

Unfortunately there is a design flaw in these shelves. Probably material. I paid an outrages price (approx. $45) for this replacement shelf on a refrigerator this is only a 1 1/2 yrs old because the shelf cracked. I moved one of my other shelves down to that position until I got the new one. That shelf is now cracking too. AND NO we do not store heavy items on that shelf (although it looks like it is for milk, etc.) and there are no signs of impact from anything. I think it is poor materials, design or both. No happy.
