Fixed Our Washer Ourselves!
Whirlpool washer made a loud pop and stopped mid load with E01 F06 error code that wouldn't clear with basic reset or turning it off at the breaker. Following advice of many that this board may be at fault ordered one. Part took 8 days to arrive to the West Coast. Our machines are stacked in a tight closet so we rented an air sled tool to pull them out (the hardest part of the job really). Took off the back panel of the machine approx 15 screws and this part clips in the bottom of the machine with 3 wire harnesses plugged into it. If you can build legos you can follow a YouTube video to replace this circuit board. We had a well known repairman turn down the job because 'he doesn't deal with that kind of stuff' and 'it's not a guaranteed fix so then what?' Waits at major repair companies were very long, new machines are months out due to covid. Our best shot was DIY. Turns out the old circuit board did burn out 2 resistors with a big black burn mark on the circuit board and 2 black burn marks on the white plastic housing. My dad repairs industrial machine tools and sees this happen often when things get too hot, the washer failed during a sanitize load (very hot!) with a standard sized load. If you can easily access the back panel of your washing machine (no need to unstack) and have the E01 F06 error take out this circuit board and check for burns it's likely the problem!

Perfect Part and Perfect fit
had to get the snaps out of the old one that attached to the washer bottom. once you get the back off the washer its right there. only had 3 wires to hook up and snap this in and it worked amazing. of course unplug the washer well doing this.
