We purchased a GE profile stainless steel dishwasher with the top mount touchpad several years ago. However we use the washer very little, mostly just on holidays. So when we weren't able to start it recently we were surprised by its start push button failure. I Googled the symptoms and saw that this is a common problem. I also saw that the replacement parts often fail as well per the internet chats. We purchased the replacement keypad anyway. It was easy to install and so far it works. We will see for how long. Easy to install though.
