This skid shoe (part number 178777X479) is for snowblowers.
Skid shoe 178777X479 attaches next to the auger housing and slides along the ground so the snowblower can move smoothly. It also elevates the auger housing so it clears the ground, protecting it from damage. Replace both skid shoes at the same time to prevent uneven wear.
Wear work gloves to protect your hands when installing this part.
